Thank you for visiting my editing portfolio.
I have been working with Final Cut Pro since 2003, and have been working professionally since
2005. My editing experience ranges from corporate videos to narrative features, from
live performances to documentaries, from digital to film. I have working knowledge and
experience in PAL, HD, RED, and AVCHD workflows for the newer digital video cameras (such as
the GH2 and F3, as well as DSLR cameras). My work details, among other things, composite correction,
color grading, audio filtering and correction, and even scoring.
In addition to a summa cum laude degree in Cinema Theory from the University of Minnesota, I
also studied in Prague, at the prestigious FAMU, under the tutelage of Academy Award winning
Czech filmmakers. It is my time at these institutions, as well as my own creative work
that includes internationally screened features and shorts, that has given me a distinctive eye
with regard to editing.
Artists, filmmakers, performers, and ad agencies alike come to me for the same reason: my
approach to their project is not cut/paste and flash, but to find the soul of the work, and to
mold an outlet for their vision to be expressed.
